Jesus himself asks every believer to pass on their faith to others. Some people love to argue, but so many discussions are pointless. Carefully explaining the logic of the faith (apologetics) is very different, for it is aimed at passing on a message, not just at stating an opinion.

Dominic certainly was a great debater. But he managed to proclaim the gospel in a particularly difficult area in France more because he was convincing in his lifestyle, than through his clever argumentation. This can be true for you too.

The most important thing is to live your Christian life in a convincing way: pray, love and speak reasonably. Apologetics is a rational explanation without arguing pointlessly.
